Vegas Odds-makers deemed the Go Big or Go Home squad a 2:1 favorite going into the Wednesday Night Dodgeball Finals match versus the heaving hitting Awesome Harder team. The two dodgeball giants had went toe-to-toe twice earlier in the season and both times Go Big or Go Home played ultra big and sent Awesome Harder home with a fresh scar on a nearly flawless record.
However, it appeared that only fueled the fire as Awesome Harder came prepared to dominate in the playoffs and exact their revenge.
Awesome Harder caught a break in the first round and won by a forfeit. Even so, Awesome Harder decided to play a quick exhibition to stay sharp and focused. It was a smart decision as the team steamrolled through its next competitor into the finals.
It was no surprise when Awesome Harder and Go Big or Go Home met in the finals. Both teams play with sound strategy and the ranks of each squad are deep with players who possess killer dodgeball instinct. There was no love lost between these teams has they lined up from one another before the first whistle blew.
Both teams eeked out a win in the first two games before the "switch" and the atmosphere intensified as the evening sky began to darken. Awesome Harder went on a rampage and took hold of the match and by taking the next three games in effort to secure the championship.
