Anthony Jordan Smells a Comeback

The Final Countdown

Anthony Jordan found his team down early in the game against W00ks K.C., but that was okay he said, because he "smelled a comeback". The smell of the comeback must have been strong in the air that day, because every inning he smelled that smell and alerted his team that this was the magic inning where things were going to change. The comeback never came that day, but Anthony never let it bring down his spirit or affect his positive outlook on the game. Anthony did a great job of keeping his team's chin up even when the chips were down, and for that is this weeks Underdogger of the Week. Great Job!

Tom Duong flips out in the outfield!

The Rubber Booters

Tom Duong was a respectable force on the diamond today at Brooklyn Park, scoring some great hits, playing some solid defense, and possessing a great attitude. But the spotlight moment of the week occurred when Tom sprinted towards a ball kicked into the outfield, leaped for the ball, secured it towards his chest, and did a forward somersaulting flip to land on the ground with firm possession of the ball and the out. It was a moment of great astonishment for everyone on the field today, perhaps most of all Tom himself, and is a memory that will be hard to top for a time to come. Great play, and great job today Tom for being Underdogger of the Week!

Annie Lund has consistently been a rock for her team, a solid foundation that W00ks K.C. has used to rocket themselves into success and many victories. Today however, Annie was the superstar of the field, catching ball after ball to shut down the opposition. Not only that, but Annie has a great personality, awesome spirit, amazing sportsmanship, and is an overall pleasure to be around. Great job Annie! Rock on for being Underdogger of the Week.
