Late Fall Wednesday Co-Ed Dodgeball at Friendly House

"Are you ready?"
Ayon Jama says this right before the balls are thrown at her at does her "ready" dance.
Team Cavapoos had no idea what to expect at the season opener of Dodgeball. While watching a game being played, you can see the fear in their eyes. When they took the court, their excitement got the best of them and they were ready to play.
Kate B. assembled this team, but it was Ayan who ran away with the show. She is very animated and more fun than a kid trick or treating.
As the balls kept flying by her, her excitement and laughter came out. In one game her team abandoned her being the last one standing against 5 players. Miraculously she dodged 6 balls all at one time. It was like arrows falling from the sky covering the sun. Who knows how she did it and managed to dodge a few more before finally getting hit and then she just laughed it off. After the game she commented "I'm so stressed out."
All the fear that she had prior to the game subsided with the amount of fun she was having. One thing is for certain, Ayan Jama had the most fun out of anybody with a smile that couldn't be taken away. And for that we give her the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations!

Troy had a blast tonight and made an amazing catch in one of the games. Troy was close to the middle line when one of his opponent was lining him up for a hard peg out. Troy looked up and as the ball was thrown he caught it between his legs. It was awesome and for his dodgeballerness, he is our Player of the Week!

Sean Evans was the last man standing a few times for Not In The Face and he made the best of the situation each and every time. When he saw that multiple balls were being thrown his direction he went sliding chest first and then a second time on his side to dodge every ball that was thrown. He also made the night fun for everyone by talking to opposing teams and having fun whether he was in or out. For his awesome slides and great energy during this weeks' games he is our Player of the Week!
