Besides having one of my favorite team names in the league, HISYM also has a great team story. Indy teams are one of the greatest aspects of Underdog Volleyball. You get to meet new people, develop team chemistry, and hopefully make some friends. A year ago, most of HIMYM was one of those Indy teams. Now, they're a skilled team who love to play volleyball. HISYM went 1-1 for the night and showcased the skills that Erin, Kelly, Rob, Melissa, Chuck, and Jake all bring to the table. I'm excited to see what's in store for this team throughout the season as their chemistry develops even more!

Our Team of the Week for this week is probably the only sponsored team in Underdog Volleyball. All the members of WILSON!! work together at USA Military Medals, who they impressed into sponsoring their team. WILSON!! stand out because they are probably the most good-natured team in the league. They have come out to every game, ready to learn and have fun. Even though they only have one player with knee pads, WILSON!! comes prepared every week with their awesome uniforms and good spirits. I can't wait to watch WILSON!! progress this season, and continue to be one of the most fun and easy going teams in the league!

SETS WITH STRANGERS
Sets with Strangers (SwS) played a team they were no stranger to, Drunk and Looking To Score (DALTS). Competitive as these two teams may be, they both seem to always have so much fun. With DALTS not having enough players SwS was kind enough to share a few of their woman. Khelli with her killer serves, Natalie with her strong digs, and Kalea with her saves. A couple of the SwS guys were even on the sidelines cheering on their team with the wave! Such a fun team to watch play!

Safe Sets
Chris from Safe Sets signed up for volleyball and played a couple games then disappeared for a few weeks coming back just in time for playoffs. He says he was in China and has pictures to prove it. Well, the team didn't let him off easy, they made him work for his spot. He made some smooth hits and sets in the first game which helped send the Safe Sets onto the semifinals. In the semifinals Chris was "playing his spot" and tipping the ball over the net with perfect timing, sealing the fate of Safe Set sending them onto the finals.
