Matt Baumbach is Player of the Week
Indy Team #FF2
This team came in as a group of individuals and clicked very early on in their first game together. Matt B. stepped into the quarterback role to start the game, finding open receivers throughout the first half. And as we see so often in Underdog FF, the more you spread the wealth the more fun everyone has and the better the team's play is. Matt B. made smart plays with the football to setup his teammates for touchdowns all game long.
This team came together in their first game wearing some great looking turquoise shirts to pull out a fun-filled win. They followed it up with some post game strategy planning at the sponsor bar.

Blood, Sweat, and Beers
This was a game filled with highlight reels, but the most exciting and crucial play didn't happen until the last minute. Each team came in with a great game plan and executed them so well it was a one-point game when Julaine made her move. She jumped a short route snagging the interception which setup the go-ahead touchdown for BSB with seconds remaining.
These two teams stepped onto the field ready to play, sticking to their game plans with one play deciding the game. This was a battle for the ages and with playoffs looming weeks out we could be in for another.

Safely Blitzed
Bobi was all over the field today. She stepped up for her team and came through when they needed it the most. This team always finds a way to find the end zone. Safely Blitzed spread the wealth in the pouring rain tonight and found the endzone more than most teams. In one of our most challenging weekends with sideways rain, this veteran team fell back on experience to pull out the win.

Murdered Out
Jason B. and Murdered Out had a double header this surprisingly nice weekend. Jason led his team down the field almost every drive to find the endzone. Jason spread the wealth around, finding the open receiver for short gains and long bombs. In the first game, Jason found David three times for touchdowns to seal the win.
Murdered Out stands as our last remaining undefeated co-ed team. They stepped up this weekend and brought enough energy and good humor to last for two games.

Balls and Dolls
Balls and Dolls found themselves down one to the top seeded Murdered Out and they needed a big defensive play. Ben placed himself in perfect position to snag a bobbled pass and ran into the end zone. Ben clinched the game with an unbelievable pick six. A great way to end the regular season and gear up for playoffs next week!

Alcoholics Anonymous
The playoffs are in full swing now and this past Sunday's last game was one for the ages. Alcoholics Anonymous and Murdered Out, two of our top seeded teams, found themselves in a game that would not be decided in regulation. This game needed two overtimes to come up with a winner. As the other games ended, players and officials alike gathered around the north field to watch how this one would play out.
In a game filled with big scores and big stops, A.A. engineered a spectacular drive to find Justin in end zone in the second overtime. they narrowly pulled out this nail biter to move on in the playoffs. Murdered Out left it all on the field and will no doubt pick up right where they left off next season atop the standings.
