The top two seeds in this league had a face off during the championship match on Wednesday evening. Prior to the final match, Tipsy had battled it out against Big Dig Energy in what could be argued as both team's best games yet. Tipsy had played for the full hour prior to their game against the Smokin Buns and they were playing with a 5-man team - which may have been a disadvantage against the fresh legs of the top seed team.
