Summer Softcore Co-ed Kickball at Peninsula Park Tuesday

Summer kickball starting off, though it was muddy, there wasn't any sloppy play today. Teams were ready for the opener, making plays, hustling and having fun. Linda was doing her best, for her team, staying positive and having fun. Making plays as catcher, and making kickers laugh.
Adding some 'team' photos throughout the game from the dugout, as her teammates were kicking it. Nice job,great energy and keep up the team play.

Playing her usual, fast pace, hustle for her team, Lauren was ready tonight. Playing defense at 2nd base, catching flys and throwing to first on grounders. Though she was pegged out going to 1st on her opening kick, she didn't get out again.
Bunting and kicking to get, she got to 2nd on pure hustle. Adding the play of the day, running in from the OF to peg the runner out at home to save a run. Heads up play! Nice hustle all game Oats(Steve too), keep it up y'all.

Showing up right on time, with 2 outs, and changing shirts right before he went on the field, Kevin was 'ready'. It was a quick out and first inning but he stayed focused. Staying positive, smiling and having fun, Kevin was doing it.
Aside from that, he was coaching 3rd and sending runners home. Waiving BOTH his arms in a back stroke motion, swimming in place. Nice playing Ballers.

Starting out game 1 of what would be a double header, Christina was moving in one speed. Fast/hustle. Getting on base almost every time she bunted, using her speed, to beat out the throws.
As pitcher she was ready to roll, kicker or not. The focus was there and so was the talent, making a stretching catch at 2nd base. Nice hustle and season. Way to play fifth.

Last game of the season for all those that partook at wonderful peninsula Park, summer kickball! Spawners were there til the end, in full uni's and good mojo.
Sam 'rolled' up on his skateboard, right on time and motivated a team warm up. Adding 2 double plays at pitcher, smiles and having fun, he deserves player of the week. Nice game and season.
