PRIME won the Westmoreland Division 1 championship Wednesday, defeating Virgins on 3rd Base. Both games between the two teams in the regular season were tightly contested, with each team winning one. The championship followed the same pattern- the game was close throughout, featuring clutch defense, pitching and timely kicks. PRIME built a slim lead early that they maintained throughout the game. Virgins brought the tying run to the plate in the top of the 7th, but several great plays by PRIME closed out the game.
