Spring Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Sundays

Opening Sunday, for Spring kickball, at Peninsula Park started out right, with a lot of rain, good people and kickball in the grass. Nothing new for the returning teams Going Hard with a Rubber or Ball & Oats, as they are game either way, dirt or grass.
It was a well played game and though they fell short, Going Hard with a Rubber was making plays, hustling and using all their players. Travis was doing his part for the team, captain or not, he was motivating, explaining and staying positive for the teammates. Making the catch of the day, diving at third, he had a nice game. He's a great guy too.

The wonderful Sparklers were back at it again this weekend with a business woman extraordinaire theme. Playing with purses, wigs, and beautiful business suits, Sparkle Motion was definitely having the most fun... Again.
But there was one shining star who spent most of his/her time at the mound. Michael was dressed in a red jumpsuit, cleavage out in full force, and accessorizing to perfection. Pitching some good ones, and some not so good ones, Michael/Michelle brought smiles to every face at the field. She even almost had the best catch of the day, but couldn't quite fit the ball in his/her purse.
Now only if that fancy gold belt didn't get in the way...
Keep kicking booty Sparklers. You guys are the best!!!

In a game where her team was short-handed, Heather not only played exemplary kickball reaching base several times, scoring several runs, & playing good defense, but she also took excellent care of her baby & sometimes another that were in the crowd as fans. I believe she even breast fed the baby in between at bats! The baby was dressed to support the team in a Never Nudes jersey and trade mark "jorts" consistent with the Underdog business model "Hook Em While They're Young". What some mistook for prolonged crying, was, in my opinion, in actuality, merely passionate support of her Mom's team. Way to go Heather & daughter! This is the true spirit of Underdog Sports Leagues!

Sunny Sunday and first round of playoffs at Pennisula, with teams ready to play and have fun. And 1 kixtape forgot the tape, but brought their kicks and stick'em for defense. Making nice plays in the field, they were tough to score on.
Taylor was making it hard for ladies to bunt and get on base, throwing'em out and catching balls. Taking a cut off through at the mound to get the runner at third, was one of the plays of the day. He was also practice pitching to those that wanted to kick between games. Good man and nice games!
