Summer Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Tuesdays

What's in the Box taking on the W00ks this week and it didn't disappoint. At least not me. Aside from the music playing, players having fun, enjoying the weather and game, there were a plethora of nice plays being made. W00ks were leading and playing shut down D, but What got into the Box? A rally.
Will was leading the team, in a shirts off rally, since the 1st inning, but others would soon follow in the bottom of the 7th. The team came together and pulled out a walk off win to end the game. Great RKI by Will to take the lead and win the game. Nice job y'all, congrats on a fun win

Travis was apart of the first game of the night and displayed some great sportsmanship on and off the field. He cheers on his other teammates and does a great job of coaching third base. Not only was he a good team player but also played a great game and pitched a complete game while on offense he had some good kicks and rounded home a few times throughout the game. Great job Travis!

Last game of the night and it was a good clean, fun way to end. Going hard with a rubber taking on Fri Steifen, two teams that play hard, but have fun in the process. Katie was catching and making some sweet plays in the process. Shutting down the bunt with her own foot, it brought Das boot to another level!
Adding two kick outs, one at first and the other at third. She was covipering her corners and her teammates. With ,aughs, nice plays and good times, Fri Steifen had a nice game, even though they scored fewer points. Keep up the mojo team.

Long Kicks, Tight Bunts made a great run to the championship game tonight! Cory was their pitcher and did a great job at holding the other teams in check. He had a great attitude all night and kept his team engaged and having fun. Thanks for bringing a great time out to the park Cory and the rest of Long Kicks, Tight Bunts!
