Notes

First Place

Winter Westside Co-ed Bowling Thursdays at Valley Lanes 7pm

The Pin Pals just a season ago barely missed the playoff picture but came back with something to prove this time around! As a true leader of a high caliber team always does, Suzanne showed off her talents by having two of her best games of the season when they matter most. Andy also showed off his consistency by having scores only 2 pins apart between the two games of the night while leading his teams in pinfall both games.

After rolling through the season by defeating every team in the league The Pit of De Spare came up just a bit short in winning their second championship. They took a season off after winning their first but they are hungry to try again to make it two out of three next season!

In the third place game Bowl Job and Shut Up and Bowl played a good match with Bowl Job narrowly pulling off the match. Ryan led his team in the first game while Chris stepped up his game in the second to put them over the top. Shut up and Bowl were familiar faces to Valley Lanes and played well this season by placing 2nd in regular season standings and showed why they'll always be a team that can win on any given week.

Sucmabowls and Gutter Perfection playing 9-pin no tap really enjoyed the score bumps they got in this final week! Corey from Sucmabowls closed out every single frame the first game to cap out at 205 while Gutter Perfection led by the scoring of Ryan increased their pinfall total by nearly 200 points from the first game to the second game of the night.

Overall a wonderful season with 6 awesome teams that I hope to see back in the very near future!

POTW: Andrew Dawson

The Pin Pals

Andy led his team to victory by posting almost matching scores in both the semi-final and the final all while leading his team in both games in pinfall. I'm guessing since he bowls last on his team he just studies the lanes and his teammates to develop the best strategy when it's finally his turn. Way to use your teammates to your advantage (and the teams's) Andy!

POTW: Suzanne DeLorenzo

The Pin Pals

It seems as though Suzanne is pals with a lot of the pins but for some reason that 10-pin needs a little more TLC. But she did earn a few spirit coupons for one of the strangest non-strikes I've seen all season with the 10-pin bouncing off a few other pins and then proceeding to stand right back up where it started! Suzanne, you're our player of the week for your high spirits through the night regardless of the situation - true Underdog material!
