Bowling Schedule

Winter Westside Co-ed Bowling Thursdays at Valley Lanes 7pm

Thursday, January 22

POTW: Kerry Dwyer
Not Sure
Bowl Job (previously known as Not Sure) was led by the brother-sister combination of Ryan and Kerry. Although Ryan returns with barbie in hand, Kerry was the outspoken one of the night. In true underdog spirit Kerry took her frustrations out on the lanes but for some reason the lanes took their frustration back out on Kerry! Even with the back-and-forth banter between Kerry and the pins on Lanes 9 and 10 she obviously still truly enjoyed herself out there. Great job Kerry - you're true Underdog material!

POTW: Michael Begley
POTW: Michael Begley
Indy #2
Michael jumps from one Indy team to the "semi-indy" team that he played against last season and proved to be a worthy teammate. Don't let his quiet enthusiasm and shyness from cameras fool you for he is one to be reckoned with! When one strike falls for him just be prepared for many others to fall in succession. Michael, glad you're a part of Underdog since you show some of the spirit and good-hearted fun we are looking for!

POTW: Carlena Marg
Gutter Perfection
Just because their team name is Gutter Perfection doesn't mean Carlena will be throwing many gutters - at least on this night! She rocked the lanes with some very respectable scores and smiled the entire time doing so. Well, the smiles may have been because there wasn't a camera in her face the entire night but regardless she still showed she was having a good time!

POTW: Suzanne DeLorenzo
The Pin Pals
It seems as though Suzanne is pals with a lot of the pins but for some reason that 10-pin needs a little more TLC. But she did earn a few spirit coupons for one of the strangest non-strikes I've seen all season with the 10-pin bouncing off a few other pins and then proceeding to stand right back up where it started! Suzanne, you're our player of the week for your high spirits through the night regardless of the situation - true Underdog material!

POTW: Christina Blank
The Pit of De-Spare- Indy #1
After playing through the pain the last few weeks while being injured Christina showed up tonight with something to prove. Throwing down strikes and spares seemed to be the norm for her now that the pain has subsided. Plus her perma-smile has returned to the lanes although a few drinks may have helped that as well!

POTW: Andrew Dawson
The Pin Pals
Andy led his team to victory by posting almost matching scores in both the semi-final and the final all while leading his team in both games in pinfall. I'm guessing since he bowls last on his team he just studies the lanes and his teammates to develop the best strategy when it's finally his turn. Way to use your teammates to your advantage (and the teams's) Andy!
