A low rumble started from the Kickball Wizard's bench. They were down 9-5 going into the bottom of the 7th inning. Shouts of "We Can Do This," followed by high-fives began to percolate throughout the team. Chants of "Pool Party" echoed onto the field. The batters came to the plate one-by-one, and five minute later the last runner came across home plate to win 10-9.
After speaking with Kickball Wizards after the game, I was told that one person was responsible for the teams amazing comeback; Seth Miller. Apparently he had two Pool Parties that led to the quick rejuvenation of battered kickball bodies. For his contributions, both on and off the field, Seth Miller has earned Player of the Week.
