Cory pitched a great game, only to outdone by himself in the batter's box. After giving up only two runs over seven innings on the mound Cory's team needed him in the bottom of the seventh. Hootie and the Ballfish were down by one with runners on first and second. Cory stepped into the batter's box and "BOOM goes the dynamite!" A mammoth 3-run shot gave Hootie the victory under the lights Saturday night. Great clutch performance Cory!
Scott is the Willie "Pops" Stargall of Hootie and the Ball Fish. He is undoubtedly the leader of the team both on defense and at the plate, keeping his team loose and ready at all times. Not only his team, but the league as a whole certainly benefits having a guy like Scott on board.
With a dazzling display of sheer home run power and gold glove quality defense, Josie was the heart and soul of Hootie and the Ballfish on Saturday night. Just a tremendous all around great performance for this Underdogger.
