Under the lights at Montavilla Hootie and the Ballfish faced off against the Skull Crushers for the Saturday night Softball Championship. After one inning the score was 1-1 and it looked like we would be in for a pitchers duel. However, in the 3rd inning the Skull Crusher's bats came alive. An inside the park home run from Tyler Murdoch ignited the Crusher's 6 run inning, putting them up 9-1. Hootie put up a valiant effort scoring 3 runs in the 4th, but the power and defense from the Skull Crushers was too much. Congratulations Skull Crushers on winning the championship!
