Kaitlin Hill--Discovering her killer instinct

Projectile Casting Crew

Opening night for Dodgeball like other USL sports doesn't come without its obstacles. Rookie players and newbie teams are getting a feel for the game while veterans are working out the kinks and calibrating their throwing arms after the break. Even with the adjustments that are being made and the mistakes that happen during game play, it's all in how you handle the adversity. Not all the time but sometimes frustration can set in but with players like Kaitlin Hill and her Projectile Casting Crew the experience was greeted with some laughter and a new found love for the timeless tradition of Dodgeball.
Hill, stepped out to court for the first time Wednesday night and rediscovered all the fun this game provides but even a little bit more about how herself and how she plays this game. This rookie, being of small stature played, played a like behemoth ten times her size and showed that a dodgeball can be the great equalizer often taking out opponents much larger than her. All smiles and without fear and mercy, Kaitlin constantly found herself the last woman standing fighting to the bitter end for her squad.
So Congrats to Kaitlin Hill our WEDNESDAY NIGHT DODGEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK, you played like a true vet, your future in this game is bright.
