Ann Gray

The B Team

Welcome back to Underdog's winter volleyball league! What an exciting way to start off 2013. Some come to work out, some come to meet new people, and some just come to hang out and play some volleyball. Whatever the reason, it was pretty obvious that everyone who came was just trying to have a good time. Ann Gray of The B Team is an example of just that. This girl was having a great time with her team and pulled off one of the most impressive plays I've seen all year! The B Team is down in their second game, and after some intense rallying, Ann got sick of it and decided to put the ball away herself and get the point! What did she do? Used her face to play defense, and while everyone was stunned by her method of defense, the ball went soaring into the air, and down into the opposing teams court. POINT. I think Ann might have been a little stunned herself! The court erupted in cheers at what had just happened, and high fives all around ensued. For that reason, Ann is player of the week this week. So congratulations Ann and keep up the great work!
