Mel's team played a double header on Sunday and in both games she really stuck out as a valuable player for her team. Mel plays second base and she is very good at it, she made countless fly ball catches and was constantly catching fast throws to the bag for the force outs. She had some great kicks as well and is quick around the bases. Mel has a great attitude no matter if her team is winning or losing and plays as hard as she can no matter what. Mel is a great asset to her team and a pleasure to watch on the field.
