Summer Softcore Co-ed Kickball at Alberta Park Sunday

I was able to watch Kheifer play in the last game of the day. Right off the bat I knew that it was going to be an enjoyable game solely due to the joy and overall attitude he brought to the game. Instead of just high fiving at the end of the game Kheifer insisted that they do it both before and after the game in order to wish them good luck. He was constantly smiling and giving hugs throughout the game. He also had some great catches at third and is a powerful kicker. This last game was the highlight of the day for me because it was so easy and fun and I think that Kheifer was a big part of that. No matter what the score is Kheifer is playing to have fun, I think that all players should strive to have the attitude and enjoyment that Kheifer has!!

Mel's team played a double header on Sunday and in both games she really stuck out as a valuable player for her team. Mel plays second base and she is very good at it, she made countless fly ball catches and was constantly catching fast throws to the bag for the force outs. She had some great kicks as well and is quick around the bases. Mel has a great attitude no matter if her team is winning or losing and plays as hard as she can no matter what. Mel is a great asset to her team and a pleasure to watch on the field.
