The saying goes that hitting is contagious in softball. A solid base hit by the lead off batter can set the tone for the rest of the team, getting them fired up for the full seven innings.
Peter Tran of team Motley Villians embraced his role as the lead off man in fine fashion, quickly setting the offensive tone for his team with a solid base hit in the top of the 1st inning. Once wasn't enough for Peter as he continued to spray the ball around the field for the entire game. His blazing speed on the base path was just as impressive, make sure to stretch out each hit as far as possible.
A great all around game by a player who knows what it means to hit the ball & run with it.
Raj is player of the week this week because he is AWESOME! Raj is a cricket player turned softball. He crushes the ball at bat and he even catches the ball glove-less! Raj kept both team entertained and showed us just how fun adult softball can be!
