When Underdog has 22 teams storm the SE PDX courts, how do you choose just one team that topped them all. You just CANT! Thats why the entire league is getting the thumbs up this week for making opening night a sucess for everyone. All 21 teams who showed up tonight made it one of a kind. The SE PDX teams are going to make Tuesday nights in Eastmorland the place to be.

Tuesday night at SE PDX Courts is full of teams having fun and playing great volleyball. This week, one team stood out with their positive and enthusiastic play. Get it up is encouraging to each other, with a healthy dose of heckling. They have great communication on the court, and never lost steam through both games of their double header this week. In only their second week playing Underdog volleyball, Get it up seems to be having a great time, and will be one of the most fun teams to watch this season!

Last week, Julia's shinny purple pants brought life to the team so this week she led the entire team for a dress up week! The Blundercats showed up in glitter, glam and.....tails! Yes, there were mouse ears and tails. What a fun group to watch play tonight. The Blundercats whole team came ready to have fun and play some great volleyball tonight! Julia herself had a great night of passing. She talked to her team and made some great plays. She was vocal on the sideline and kept team spirit high. The entire Blundercats team deserves at high-five and Julia gets two for her inspiration! Can't wait to see what the playoffs brings for this team! Great job Blundercats!

This week's Player of the Week goes to someone who played with all he had tonight and hustled until the game was over. Allen E of the Court Jesters really worked hard tonight. Not only did his right arm swing save them a few points on the back line but he was the first person with a positive comment to get his teammates back after a missed point. While the Court Jesters didn't advance to the next round of the midcore playoffs, they will be be back next season to take everyone one again. Great work tonight Alan and the entire CJ team! Look foward to another season with you in a few weeks!
