Spring Softcore Co-ed Volleyball at Fernwood Wednesday

Player of the Week goes to Jeff F this week. As one of the first to show up for his game, he come ready to play with a big smile on his face. His friendly hello and welcoming attitude every week is always a pleasure..unless you are the other team that has to pass one of his rocket spikes. Not to mention if you try to get one past him, he is going to go driving after it! Few balls drop when Jeff is on the court. He a tough player but one of the friendliest. Great work this week Jeff.

Player of the week for week 4 goes to none other that Ben Anderson from Who Gives a Hit?. This week, Ben came ready to play and the other team felt the effects as Who Gives a Hit swept their game this week. Ben was all over the place making sure that ball didn't hit the ground on his side. He has some great hits and even some ace serves! His team voted him Player of the Game but his hard work this week also earned him Player of the Week Status. Great job Ben and all of Who Gives a Hit?!

Player of the week is headed to Ann R from Set Issues this week! Ann always comes in the gym with a smile on her face and ready to play a great game. This week she was on fire. Her digs out of the net and big hits in the middle earned her player of the game but her positive attitude and willingness to pump up her team and congratulate the opponent earned her player of the week. All of Set Issues play a fun and relaxing game but they do come to win a few and Ann gave them that boost tonight! Way to go Ann and Set issues, see you in the playoffs!

Linda's excitement from pulling off a close 2nd game win against the eventual champions Best Sets Ever has earned her player of the week in our final week of Spring Volleyball.

Linda had been playing with Underdog a quite a few seasons and each season she continues to get better in every way, but one thing hasn't changed and that is her positive attitude each week in the gym. Sets on the Beach has a team full of fun and friendly people and Linda led the charge this week. But if you are playing against her, you know it isn't just her friendly nature that got her player of the game. She has got some skills! With great serves and some awesome kills this week, Linda helped lead her team to force a game three.

Great job all season long Linda and all of Sets on the Beach. It was a fun spring, see you in the fall!
